Frantoio del Monte is situated between Lucca and ViareggioThe origin of the building dates back to the 16th century and the restoration dates back to the year 2000. The estate is set in a picturesque olive grove with its own swiftly flowing stream that has for centuries provided the power to operate the mill. The main historical building plus barn and stables have been expensively renovated and now offer six elegant apartments ,two on each floor, (there is a lift) plus an independent house with private garden. All apartments are huge (150 quarry meters) with the most impressive roof beams we have ever seen. Each apartment is furnished individually and attention has been paid to every detail. Each apartment has double room, twin room, single room, bathroom with shower, WC, bidet, bathroom with tub, WC, bidet, kitchen, spacious livingroom, lumberroom with safe.The 12m x 6m pool is situated next to the olive grove where guests can sit under the shade of trees and make use of the barbecues, grill, oven for pizza, tables and chairs provided for dining. The ground of the estate is completely enclosed and children can play and run with absolute security. In the garden (4000 quarry meters) there is a children playground, a table tennis and a basket, a gazebo and a spacious parking area with two car places for each apartment.
The position of the structure is ideal to reach in few time the beautiful beaches of Versilia (Viareggio, Torre del Lago Puccini and Forte dei Marmi) and the most famous tuscan towns (Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena etc) Very panoramic is the excursion to the Five Lands by boat from Viareggio and the trips to the Garfagnana Region on the Apuan Alps and the walks to the nearby hills of Massarosa and Camaiore with wonderful panoramas above the sea, the Massaciuccoli Lake and the islands of the Tuscan Archipels.

PRICES FOR SEASON 2010 are from Euro 680 a week to Euro 1000 a week, all included (electricity, gas, water, linen and towels also for pool with a weekly changeover). Price doesn't include final cleaning of Euro 60 and heating (Euro 0,80 per cubic meter).
