The principal house, once the old olive oil mill and stables, stands on 8 000 m_ of enclosed land divided mainly in olive groves with a garden and vegetable garden.
Paola, daughter of the present owner, has always been fascinated by this remarkable place and decided in 1985 to create an activity that would serve both to preserve the area and enable other people to share in its beauty.
A stay at Villa Maria Doria will not be easy to forget, because it offers the rare possibility of living in an environment still reminiscent of past times and rhythms now lost – when the days passed more calmly and each moment was lived more intensely.
